Flamingo Travels 7 Units of Distance

okay, so: the ending. the group gets warped into a place called the 'elevator shaft' causing linnea to have a panic attack from the warp as she is shrouded in darkness for a good period of time. the place is just a featureless void with a white ground. there are literally no obstacles left to go before they reach their destination, right?

youd be wrong, ha. while flamingo is driving the wagon, weapons merchant uses the orb they gave linnea the very first time the two met, for a ritual that is supposed to ascend linnea into a god. things start going wrong when weapons merchant says to recall the most beautiful place and linnea, who is definitely not in the right headspace after the entirety of what happened so far, can only recall a eternal fire

and then linnea catches on fire. also weapons merchant gets caught in it too as a sacrifice. the conflagration is enough to alert flamingo, who takes a few seconds to just stare in horror. and then they pull weapons merchant away from linnea, mostly by mistake because they didnt realize WM was the one starting the ritual and thought they were misunderstanding something. honestly i think i kind of screwed up the roleplay here by just not understanding a key point but thats not important. anyways, the ritual is cut off, which gives linnea enough time to kill the firemoth inside her, stopping the ascension (which also causes her to burn up in smoke), weapons merchant explodes into flowers because they were still half-sacrificed, 

and Flamingo is alone
